Family Plan Enhancements

You can now create the account hierarchy to support Family plan as part of the Shopping cart - anonymous/guest user checkout process. Members can be designated as owner and child accounts. Access control is provided to manage and view assets.

Once the account hierarchy is created, you can also allow for modifications to the same, such as:

• Removing a child account from existing parent to make it an independent account, 
• Moving a child from existing parent to another parent account
• Adding a child account to parent account.

The business benefit of this feature is that there is greater flexibility in creating the family plan account hierarchy and managing the hierarchy in line with the needs of the family.  Access control mechanism helps the owner to manage and monitor assets tagged to the family hierarchy more effectively.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Use the Support Specialist role privilege for Account hierarchy updates..
