Rollback of Market Releases
Rollback process allows Communications Service Provider (CSP) to undo or revert offers and promotions released to the market. The rollback is intended to eliminate manual interventions and to operate at speed. As releasing an offer or promotion to the market is primary objective for a CSP from a time and cost perspective, rollback is equally important to mitigate revenue loss and poor customer experience. The objective is to ensure that no incorrect offers can be ordered in the ordering system. With this capability the CSPs can revert to a last known good state after a bad deployment.
Similar to how the release process is for the Initiative contents, Rollback is also applicable for the Initiative contents, flexible to support:
- Partial Rollback – Few offerings/promotions from the launched initiative
- Full Rollback – All offerings/promotions from the launched initiative
Add the privilege ATC_LAUNCHX_MANAGE_ENTITY_ROLLBACK to the catalog administrator user to enable roll back capability.
