REST APIs to Work with User Variables

You can now use a set of REST APIs to work with user variables. The REST APIs allow you to do the following tasks:

• Get user variable values defined for the application
• Get user variable values defined in the application by the user variable name
• Get user variable values defined for a member
• Get user variable values defined for a user
• Get user variable values defined for a user and a member combination
• Set user variable values for the application

Applies to: Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Planning, Tax Reporting

Business Benefit: These APIs allow administrators to provide default values for user variables when creating new users as well as query the user variable values for different selection criteria.
