Auto Accept and Exclude Thresholds for Matching Rules
Matching rules provide configurable parameters to control whether match results should be automatically accepted because they are a high confidence match, or automatically excluded because they are a low confidence match. The Auto Accept and Auto Exclude Threshold parameters can be optionally defined in the Matching Rule inspector. During a matching process, the match score for each match rule and match candidate is compared to the specified thresholds. When a match score meets or exceeds the Auto Accept Threshold, the match candidate is automatically accepted for a request item being matched. When a match score is less than or equal to the Auto Exclude Threshold, the match candidate is automatically excluded from the match results for the request item being matched. In situations where multiple match candidates meet the Auto Accept Threshold, the match candidates must be reviewed by a user to decide which is the best match to accept.
Business Benefit: The number of match results that need to be manually reviewed by a data manager can be significantly reduced to increase user productivity and improve data quality.
