Derived and Stored Properties Recalculated when Nodes are Updated
Properties configured with the Derived and Stored default type can be recalculated when a request action is performed for a node in a request. A Rederive On Update parameter is available in the Property inspector to enable this capability and can be set at the application or node type level for a Derived and Stored property. When a request action is performed directly on a node in a request, any property with a Derived and Stored origin will be recalculated and the new value is stored once the request has completed.
Business Benefit: Derived and stored property values are automatically updated when nodes are changed during a request, avoiding the need to manually clear the properties in order to recalculate them.
