Property Transformations in Survivorship Rules

Property transformations are available for survivorship rules that are used to merge request items to existing nodes in a viewpoint from an unregistered data source. This allows for format checking or conversion of incoming values, conditional handling of null or blank values, use of a lookup set, or to populate properties that were not directly loaded from the source. A Transform operation and expression can be configured for a property to merge in the Survivorship Rule inspector. Property transformations will run during a manual match and merge in the matching workbench as well as during an auto match and merge when request items are loaded into a request from an unregistered data source.

Business Benefit: Incoming property values for request items from external data sources can be transformed when matching and merging the items to existing nodes in a viewpoint.
