New Audit Type: Application Administration

The Application Administration audit type tracks changes made to the login level for an application.

Applies to:  Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, FreeForm, Planning

Changes tracked by the Application Administration audit type include:

  • Running the Administration Mode job
  • Changing the system setting for Enable Use of the Application for (both when it's changed manually and when it's changed automatically during a database refresh)
  • Running the EPM Automate command setApplicationAdminMode
  • Using REST API to execute the Administration Mode job

To enable the Application Administration audit type, click Tools, and then click Audit. Click Enable Auditing to select the Application Administration audit type.

Business Benefit: The Application Administration audit type allows Service Administrators to track the events related to when the application was enabled for all users or only for Service Administrators.
