Migration of EURA Environments to EU Sovereign Cloud (OC19)
Oracle will migrate all Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management and Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud environments in the EURA regions in OC1 realm to the OC19 (EU Sovereign Cloud) realm on a predefined schedule. In coming months, Oracle will notify the Service Administrators of these environments and provide them with a list of the current EURA service URLs. The notification will also outline the required steps and deadlines for completion.
Detailed information on the migration process is documented at Migration of EURA Environments to EU Sovereign Cloud (OC19).
Applies to: Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting
Business Benefit: OC19 regions are logically and physically separate from the existing OC1 regions in EU. Both private companies and public sector organizations can use OC19 regions to host data and applications that are sensitive, regulated, or of strategic regional importance. The isolation of the OC19 realm from the OC1 realm allows Oracle to restrict support and operations personnel to EU residents, including physical and logical access to the realm. The hardware and assets used to provide these cloud regions are owned, operated, and managed by EU legal entities that are separate from the existing global Oracle entities, including those in the EU. This design provides added assurance that all aspects of managing and hosting data in OC19 stays within the EU.
