Updates to the recreate EPM Automate Command and REST API
The recreate EPM Automate command and REST API have been enhanced to make all archived snapshots in Oracle Object Storage unusable if the removeAll=true option is used (removeAll=false is the default option). Previously, this option only deleted the snapshots and the contents of the inbox and outbox on the environment; the archived snapshots in Oracle Object Storage were still available. Now, when the recreate EPM Automate command or REST API is issued on an environment with the removeAll=true option:
- The listFiles command and REST API will not list snapshots and the contents of the inbox and outbox.
- The listBackups command and REST API will not list any archived snapshots.
Applies to: Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting
Business Benefit: This enhancement ensures that all artifacts related to the environment are rendered unavailable, if needed.
