Extract Option to Output Null For Properties Missing From Node Types
An extract option is available to output null values for viewpoint properties that are not used by specific node types in a viewpoint. The Null When Property Missing on Node Type option will ignore the Default Type and Inheritance parameters configured for a property at the application level and instead return a null value when the node type of an extracted node does not use the property. This option can be used with all extract types.
Business Benefit: In some cases, it is desirable for extracts to output a null value for properties that are not applicable for a particular type of node in a viewpoint. This extract option avoids the need to disable or modify application level parameters for these properties to output the appropriate values.
