System Report Attributes Updated from String to List Data Types

Within Supplemental Data Manager, the collection interval workflow dimension within all collections have been updated from string to list data types.  The default collection interval’s workflow dimension is Entity.  All collections which use the default collection interval will have the Entity attribute changed to a list data type within the Supplemental Data line Item data source.  For all collections which use a custom collection interval, the workflow dimension will be updated to a list data type within the collection’s Supplemental Data line item data source.

Within Enterprise Journals, the Journal ID has been changed to a list attribute within the Enterprise Journals Line Item data source.

By changing the attribute data type, you now have the option to place these attributes within the common POV of a report.  Any previously defined reports which utilized these attributes as filter criteria need to be modified to reinsert the updated attribute within the filter criteria. Reports which included these attributes as table columns or aggregation criteria will not require any modification.

Applies to: Financial Consolidation and Close, Tax Reporting

Business Benefit: This feature enables you to define more robust reporting leveraging common attributes across tables and grids.
