New testName Parameter for SimulateConcurrentUsage EPM Automate Command and REST API
The simulateConcurrentUsage
EPM Automate command and REST API have been updated to accept the testName
parameter which allows you to specify a name to identify the current command or API invocation. Additionally, the value you specify for this parameter is used to name the users created for the simulation. This parameter value is mandatory for test modes 0, 1, 2, and 3 and is optional for test mode 4.
Simulated user names use the pattern testNameUseruserNumber. For example, using the test name Simulation, details of simulation users will be as follows:
First Name: SimulationUser1, SimulationUser2, and so on
Last Name: SimulationUser1, Simulationser2, and so on.
Email Address: SimulationUser1@example.oracle.com, SimulationUser2@example.oracle.com, and so on
Username: SimulationUser1, SimulationUser2, and so on
Applies to: Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Planning, Tax Reporting
Business Benefit: Specifying the testName
parameter value helps manage the results of different invocations of the command or API as well as the users created for the simulation.
