Evaluation of User Roles When Determining the Validity of Profiles
Profile validation now includes the evaluation of user roles. A profile is marked as invalid if any of the following changes are made to users:
- A user assigned to the profile is deleted
- The role granted to a user is changed thereby resulting in the user having insufficient privileges to work on the reconciliation.
It is recommended that Service Administrators run the System Maintenance (non-blocking) job to ensure that profiles containing modified users are validated.
The Reason for Invalid Status column in the Invalid Profiles Report and the Valid (Detailed) column in the Profiles list provide details about the users who have insufficient roles.
Business Benefit: This feature streamlines the creation of reconciliations by enabling Service Administrators to identify invalid profiles and take the necessary actions before the reconciliations are created.
