Enhanced Tax Automation Trace
Trace data is stored in text format (which stores POV, entities, and all other dimensions like Source, Movement) which internally can take significant memory. To address potential memory issues, trace data is moved to a new table and storage method. Additionally, Tax Automation Trace is now enhanced with the following capabilities:
- For a given Squeeze Rule, single value is displayed, instead of 2 values.
- Trace value contains 2 place decimal formatted values.
- #MI is removed. Since those are not computed, any row related to missing source value does not show in Trace.
Note: Legacy trace data will only be visible in the deprecated Current Provision Trace form. Rerun Trace for a given POV to see trace data. Note that the old trace form (Current Provision Trace) is deprecated and in view only. On re-running the same POV, old trace values are deleted, and it shows only on the new trace form (Current Provision Trace).
Business Benefit: This new version of Trace enhances memory performance when tracing large numbers of data or entities at the same time.
