Login EPM Automate Command Documentation Clarification When Using oAuth2 Token
If you are running the login EPM Automate command with OAuth2 refresh token, the command disregards the username that you specify. Instead, it derives the username from the OAuth2 token contained in the encrypted password file being used.
For example, assume that oAuth2.epw contains the encrypted oAuth2 token. If you use the following command to log into an environment, EPM Automate disregards the username (ignoredUsername) and, instead, uses the username derived from the token contained in the encrypted password file.
epmautomate login ignoredUsername C:\mySecuredir\OAuth2.epw https://test-cloud-pln.epm.us-ashburn-1.ocs.oraclecloud.com
The EPM Automate login command documentation is now enhanced to provide this clarification.
Applies to: Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting
