Enhanced XBRL Integration

Narrative Reporting is now configured to seamlessly pass Report Package contents to your third-party XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) service provider. Key reporting properties pass through a URL allowing the XBRL service to extract the Report Package content and load it into the XBRL service. The Report Package content can be refreshed iteratively without loss of any XBRL tagging performed within the XBRL service provider.

The XBRL Service integration is only available within EPM Enterprise. It is not available with EPM Standard or legacy Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service.

Business Benefit: Enabling the XBRL feature improves integration with your XBRL service provider ensuring seamless transmission of your report content with your XBRL tagging provider.

Steps to Enable

To enable the XBRL service:

1. On the Narrative Reporting Home Page, select Tools, then select Settings.
2. In the Settings windows on the left panel, select XBRL Settings.
3. Select the Enable the XBRL Service Provider Integration checkbox.

4. Enter the XBRL Service Provider URL.
5. Optional: Select Encode URL.
6. Click Save.
