Support for Substitution Variables in EPM Automate and Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management REST APIs
Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management jobs support substitution variables as job parameters in EPM Automate and REST APIs. These substitution variables are resolved at runtime, and the job executes accordingly.
Business Benefit: When you use substitution variables in EPM Automate and REST APIs, you do not need to modify your automation scripts. For example, if you wanted to run a calculation job every month, you could use a substitution variable like &currPeriod and configure its value in the user interface. In subsequent months, you would only need to update the variable value in the user interface - no changes would be required in the automation script.
