Support for Non-ASCII Filenames in Download REST APIs
The Download REST APIs now preserve filenames containing non-ASCII characters, for example, Japanese characters. Successful download responses use UTF-8 percent encoding in the filename* parameter of the Content-Disposition header, enabling supporting clients to retain the original filename. Existing support for ASCII filenames continues.
Applies to: Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting
Business Benefit: This enhancement preserves original filenames, helping users identify downloaded files and reducing manual renaming when working with files in multiple languages.
