Environments to Remain on One-off Patch or Manual Skip Update for a Maximum of Six Months

Going forward, to meet security and compliance requirements, an environment may remain on a one-off patch for a maximum of six months. During this six-month period, the environment will be managed as follows:

  • If the regression is fixed in a monthly update: The environment will be upgraded to the applicable monthly update and returned to the main code line.
  • If the regression is not fixed in a monthly update: The environment will be upgraded to a new one-off patch based on the latest code line, ensuring it remains current while retaining the required fix.

Similarly, after you have already used skipUpdate EPM Automate command for an environment to skip monthly updates three times, you can ask Oracle to skip the updates only for a maximum of three more months. After that, your environment will be merged back to the main code line.

Applies to:  Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting
