API Signing Key Authentication For Object Storage Connections

Global connections to Oracle Object Storage include an optional API Signing Key authentication type to securely connect to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments using cryptographic keys.  API signing key components are set up in the OCI console and configured for each Enterprise Data Management connection. Integration operations such as extracts and extract packages can then use those API signing keys when transferring data to Object Storage service instances.

Business Benefit: API signing keys provide a more secure alternative to basic authentication when connecting to Oracle Object Storage environments.
