Applying Design Time Formatting in Smart View

In this video, you learn about the Design Time Formatting options in Smart View and review the differences when applying options. You'll see how to review the order of precedence for all rules and cell styles. First you launch a web form in Smart View, then you review how the different styles appear at runtime. Finally, you disable Design Time Formatting and clear Excel formatting associated with a form.

First, you see how to enable Standard mode and use cell-based POV displays, submit data with automatic refresh, and work in free-form mode. Then, you learn how to save and share Ad Hoc grids across platforms, create multi-grid analyses, perform multiple-cell selections, and use advanced zoom options like Sibling Level and Same Generation. Finally, you see how to display member names with aliases, identify invalid members for troubleshooting, and use the "Refresh Saved Sheet as is" option to preserve external changes.
