Financial Analysis Hub

A Financial Analysis Hub that provides built-in analytic capabilities, enabling you to generate and perform meaningful analysis on financial statements by working with interactive charts and graphs, and reviewing Key Highlights that add context and enable easier comparative analysis, is now available. Three seeded financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement are provided, as well as the ability to generate custom analysis.

Note: This feature is only available for Dense/Sparse optimized (DSO) applications.

Financial Analysis Hub consists of three components:

  • Analysis: Provides a centralized workspace for reviewing consolidated financial data. You can select the required POV, run predefined analysis views, review variances, identify significant movements or trends (year-over-year, quarter-over-quarter, or period-over-period) and drill into supporting details. In addition to using the currently provided ratio calculations, you now have the flexibility to define and configure custom ratios tailored to your organizational needs. The Analysis workspace helps finance users perform faster close analysis and improve transparency across accounts, entities, and reporting periods.
  • Validation Hub: Provides a centralized validation page to consolidate validations in one place. You can manage these validations efficiently, including enabling or disabling them as needed.
  • Configuration: Define and customize how you want to view financial analysis and validation results. This page enables the selection and customization of validations, financial hierarchies, and ratios – either out-of-the-box or user-defined – to tailor insights to specific business needs.

Business Benefit: The Financial Analysis Hub supports better informed decision making and streamlines the financial planning processes. This analysis functionality enables you to evaluate financial health, perform risk assessment, create time series charts and dashboards, view alerts on significant deviations and validations, and drill down from high-level Key Performance Indicators to transactional data.
