New Reporting Option in the simulateConcurrentUsage EPM Automate Command and REST API
The reportFile optional parameter has been added to the simulateConcurrentUsage command and the related REST API. This parameter helps you generate a concurrent usage CSV-formatted report detailing the test results directly on the environment. An error file is also created, if the command encounters an error. After using this parameter to generate the report and the error file, you can use the downloadFile command or the Download REST API to download them to a local computer for review.
Applies to: Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Planning, Tax Reporting
Business Benefit: This enhancement enables customers to access and download simulation results and errors through channels other than email, improving flexibility in reporting and automation workflows. It also provides structured, CSV-based success and error reporting for easier analysis, troubleshooting, and integration with external tools.
