Removal of IP Allowlist-related EPM Automate Commands and REST APIs
Oracle has removed the setIPAllowList and getIPAllowList EPM Automate commands and related REST APIs, which were temporary solutions implemented due to the lack of an equivalent security feature in Oracle Identity Cloud. With the introduction of Network Perimeter functionality in Oracle Identity Cloud, these commands and APIs are no longer required. As a result, the following EPM Automate commands and REST APIS have been removed:
- setIPAllowLList
- getIPAllowLList
- View the IP Allowlist
- Update the IP Allowlist
Note: Starting with this update, the execution of these commands and REST APIs will be ignored. All existing IP allowlists previously setup using the setIPAllowList or the related REST API will be deleted. To protect your environments from unauthorized access, configure Network Perimeter in the Oracle Identity Cloud
Applies to: Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting
Business Benefit: The use of network perimeter allows you to consolidate the configuration of allowed and/or blocked IP addresses and CIDRs for the whole domain, which also protects access to Cloud Console.
