Enhanced MDX Form Design and New MDX Data Export API

Starting with this update, Cloud EPM Platform features simplified MDX form authoring through a query editor and a query generated from an existing Classic form layout. The query editor features such as data-driven member selection, ranking, filtering, and calculations at query time. A new REST API lets administrators execute a custom query against a selected cube and retrieve a JSON data grid without creating and saving a form.

This capability is particularly useful for customers adopting the FreeForm business process from Essbase. Teams can apply their existing MDX knowledge and adapt familiar query patterns for Forms and programmatic data retrieval.

Business Benefit: The editor simplifies authoring, while the API retrieves custom slices without a saved form. They are beneficial to validate adapted queries against the target cube and supported features. Existing Essbase queries may require changes.
