Project Notes in Project-Related OTBI Subject Areas

View notes in the project-related OTBI subject areas for reporting. Users can view the notes that are recorded in the project lifecycle for project, project plan, project progress, and project invoices in the related subject areas. 

Notes for project budget and forecast will be available in a future release.

New attributes have been introduced in OTBI, allowing users to report on notes captured at various levels of the project lifecycle. The enhancements apply to the following subject areas and their respective folders:

1.  Project Control - Financial Project Plans Real Time

• Folder - Financial Project Plan Notes
  • Attributes:
    • Resource Notes - Notes recorded at the resource level under the Tasks tab on the Manage Financial Project Plan page.
    • Task Notes - Notes recorded at the task level under the Tasks tab on the Manage Financial Project Plan page.

2.  Project Control - Progress Real Time 

• Folder level 1 - Progress
• Folder level 2 - Progress Notes
  • Attributes:
    • Project Progress Notes - Notes recorded at the project level under the Progress tab on the Manage Financial Project Plan page.
    • Project Progress Task Notes - Notes recorded at the task level under the Progress tab on the Manage Financial Project Plan page.

3.  Project Billing - Invoices Real Time 

• Folder level 1 - Invoice Details
• Folder level 2 - Invoice Notes
  • Attributes:
    • Invoice Header Notes - Notes recorded in the Invoice Header section on the Manage Invoices page.
    • Invoice Line Notes - Notes recorded in the Invoice Lines section on the Manage Invoices page.

The business benefit of this feature is improved visibility of project lifecycle notes for better tracking and reporting, and streamlined access within dedicated OTBI subject areas.
