Service Excellence Continuing Investments
Our ongoing investment in service excellence has a focus on overall usability, resiliency, performance, and security. This work is based on monitoring performance trends, reviewing common use patterns, analyzing service requests, and participating in many discussions with customers.
Usability:
- Subledger accounting entries pending approval are now included in Accounting Automation notifications for improved visibility. This supplements the Exception-Based Approvals for Manual Subledger Entries feature that was delivered in 24D.
- Synchronizes revenue recognition in Cloud Project Management with Revenue Management by providing satisfaction event adjustments for project contract amendments with additional improvements in tracking and auditing of events. This capability reduces the need for manual adjustments due to user error and eliminates delays in the period close process. This also simplifies the reconciliation process by displaying additional attributes for the project lines within the Revenue Management Line Reference tab. In 25C additional attributes are added to facilitate the reconciliation process by capturing and displaying in Revenue Management project's major version line number.
- Provides organization a solution for identifying and reporting the net asset or liability position of an open performance obligation, in support of period-end disclosure reporting. Refer to the Contract Asset and Contract Liability Netting for Revenue Contracts FAQ 2435 collateral for an overview and details on how to create a custom Business Intelligence report to view the net position of your revenue contracts at the ledger, contract or performance obligation level.
Improvement:
- Oracle Subscription Management generated on-account credit memos are now interfaced to Revenue Management using Receivables.
