Budget and Forecast Notes in Project-Related OTBI Subject Areas

View notes in the Project Control - Budgets Real Time and Project Control - Forecasts Real Time subject areas in OTBI. Use these notes in reports to provide context for understanding changes and decisions throughout the project lifecycle, including the budgeting and forecasting areas.

This functionality builds on the previous release, which added support for notes in the project, project plan, project progress, and project invoice subject areas.

The enhancements apply to the following subject areas and their respective folders:

1. Project Control – Budgets Real Time

• Folder: Project Budget Version

Attribute:

• Project Budget Notes - Notes recorded for the budget version when creating or updating a budget version.

2. Project Control – Forecasts Real Time

• Folder: Project Forecast Version

Attribute:

• Project Forecast Notes - Notes recorded for the forecast version when creating or updating a forecast version.

Project Forecast Notes in the Project Control - Forecasts Real Time Subject Area in OTBI

The business benefit of this feature is improved visibility of budget and forecast notes for better financial planning, auditability, and reporting, with centralized access in dedicated OTBI subject areas.
