Service Excellence Continuing Investments for Billing and Revenue Management

In this update, improvements are available in the following areas:

  • User Experience Enhancements for the Bill Transactions Page:
    • Persistent Data Grid Column Widths - Adjustments to column widths in the Bill Transactions page are now preserved across browser refreshes, column reordering, and show/hide column actions. This ensures a more consistent user experience. Highlighted by reference 'A' in the screenshots below.
  • Removal of Last Used Values from Search Filters - Search filters on the Bill Transactions page no longer retain the last used values. Default filter values are reset upon each new visit to the page, allowing users to efficiently select new filter criteria without having to remove previous values. The history of recently applied filters, enabling quick recall, are unaffected. Highlighted by reference 'B' in the screenshots below.
  • Row Based Selection in the Data Grid - The cell selection mode for the data grid on the Bill Transactions page has changed from “Multiple Cells” to “Multiple Rows”. Users can now select one or more rows on which to perform actions, providing a more intuitive experience than cell-based selection. Highlighted by reference 'C' in the screenshots below.
  • User-Friendly Title for the Bill Transaction Page - The Bill Transaction page now displays a more descriptive title, making it easier for users to understand the context of each transaction, especially when arriving at the page from a deep link. The transaction number now appears as a subtitle below the page title. Highlighted by reference 'D' in the screenshots below.
  • Drill to Source Transactions - Users can seamlessly drill from a bill transaction to the associated source transaction (project costs or billing events) using a link on the Source Transaction Number. Clicking the link opens the source transaction in a new browser tab, streamlining cross-referencing and improving user productivity. Highlighted by reference 'E' in the screenshots below

  • User Experience Enhancement for Project Contract Prepayment Billing: When users create a prepayment application billing event, the list of values for the Prepayment Request Billing Event field now includes the event number and event description. The list of values also enables users to search for prepayment request billing events using the event description too.
