Project Organization Labor Schedule Reporting in OTBI
Leverage Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence, or OTBI, to report on project organization labor schedule attributes added to the pre-existing subject areas. The organization labor schedule type recently released, allows for grouping payroll costs for distribution to projects by the business unit or department of assignments of workers. Adding the new type and associated attributes to OTBI will allow for analyzing the costs distributed to ensure accuracy for project planning and control and billing and revenue efficiency. Also, being able to evaluate gaps in future schedule time frames will enable prevention of cost distribution delays that take more time to evaluate and generate late charging to customers and sponsors.
The business benefits are:
- Reducing the time it takes to analyze organization labor schedules spanning multiple people with powerful analytics that include the added dimensions of the business unit and department.
- Generating reports in real time will ensure labor schedules are efficiently managed reducing distribution exceptions.
