Partition Batch
In this release, a new batch has been added to support existing Oracle SaaS clients who have implemented partitioned data for Account Summary Month and Account Summary Month Audit tables. This batch recreates the partitions existing Oracle clients have created for these data tables in a previous release in order to ensure the data partitions exist in this release. For example, the Account Summary Month Audit table may be partitioned by month, with a new partition being created for each month’s data of the Account Summary Month table.
After running this batch, the existing tables are backed up, new copies of the tables are created, the partitions are created in the expected format, and the data is populated from the backup tables into the new tables.
This is a one-time activity for existing clients only.
Note: This batch should only be run by existing customers who are upgrading to the 25.03.01 release. If you are a new customer implementing 25.03.01, you do not need to run this batch.
This batch improves performance of DML Operation in the Account Summary Month and Account Summary Month Audit business tables.
