Name with White Space Screening

We have enhanced the Name screening functionality to improve the accuracy of name screening in cases where names contain white spaces between characters. The new feature automatically removes white spaces from the Full Name and Alias fields before performing the match. To support this enhancement, we have delivered a set of new out-of-the-box rules, enabling space-insensitive screening as part of the standard filtering process.

In certain scenarios, names may be recorded with white spaces between characters, either due to formatting conventions, data entry standards, or input variations from upstream systems (e.g., “J O H N” vs. “JOHN”). Traditional screening logic may fail to identify such entries as valid matches, leading to missed true positives and potential gaps in compliance. By automatically removing internal spaces prior to screening, the system ensures more consistent and accurate name matching, reduces false negatives, and enhances compliance with regulatory screening requirements.
