New High Level Dataset Filters
This release introduces the following new High Level Dataset questions that allow some scenarios more granular control of transactions classifications, in the case where transactions are made to own account(s). By default, these transactions to own accounts) are classified randomly as Credit or Debit.
- Transactions to own accounts are Credit as Yes- indicate that Customer wants to stamp such transactions as Debit
- Transactions to own accounts are Debit as Yes- indicate that Customer wants to stamp such transactions as Credit
- Transactions to own accounts are Both C and D as Yes- indicate that Customer wants to stamp such transactions as Debit and Credit
The following scenarios are supported:
- Possible Currency Transaction Report - Customer Focus
- Rapid Loading and Redemption of Stored Value Cards - Customer Focus
- Anomalies in ATM Bank Card - Foreign Transactions - Customer Focus
- High Risk Counter Party - Customer Focus
- Single or Multiple Cash Transactions - Large Significant Transactions - Customer Focus
- Large Reportable Transaction - Customer Focus
- Focal High Risk Entity - Customer Focus
- Structuring - Deposits Withdrawals of Mixed Monetary Instruments - Customer Focus
- Structuring - Avoidance of Reporting Thresholds - Customer Focus
- Structuring - Potential Structuring in Cash and Equivalents - Customer Focus
- Rapid Movement of Funds - Customer Focus
This classification can influence the alert generation, especially for scenarios where thresholds are set separately for Credit and Debit transactions. These questions introduce the ability to control how transactions between same customer to own account(s) are stamped: as Credit, Debit , or both.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
- Select only one of the following filter options as needed for your business requirements, and set the value as Yes
- Transactions to own accounts are Credit
- Transactions to own accounts are Debit
- Transactions to own accounts are Both C and D
- .Selecting No will have no impact on the scenario. In these cases, scenario will continue working as if the filter(s) is/are not added.
