Optimizing Data Volume in Management Ledger

AFCS now helps reduce Management Ledger data volume by enabling ledger-level configuration for zero-balance retention. Users can define when eligible zero-balance records should stop being processed and persisted. The capability is supported by a new contract-level Derecognition Flag and applies configuration changes prospectively, without reprocessing historical data.

This enhancement helps users reduce unnecessary Management Ledger data growth and processing effort for records that no longer add business value, such as eligible zero-balance records for inactive or derecognized contracts. AFCS supports better performance, lower storage overhead, and more flexible ledger operations while preserving accounting integrity and avoiding disruption to historical data.
