Catalog Lookup Objects

Catalog Lookup objects are referenced in ingest connectors to include additional context using data already available in Data Foundation. This kind of enrichment is needed for simpler references in data being prepared for downstream consumption.

Catalog Lookup Objects can be used creatively for several use cases such as

• enrich and standardize source data using data readily available in Data Foundation
• easily implement additional steps in data integration logic in ingest connectors, such as value-code mapping
