Manage Generic Master Data Records via Data Management Interface (DMI) Tool
As part of this release, KYCCS now supports the feature to seamlessly “Manage (edit/delete) Generic Master Data Records” using the Data Management Interface (DMI) tool. Available as a self-service feature, Generic Master Data is a UI interface that allows KYC admin users to configure various dimension data (like Occupation, Industry, Country List etc.). These dimension data are used in KYC scoring widgets and risk assessment highlight displays in L1 Risk Assessment and iHUB KYC Case. Specific operations like editing and deleting master data codes & names are not allowed in the self-service feature, as they impact downstream components. This is where DMI tool helps perform those actions if required by the client.
Data Maintenance Interface (DMI) is a secure, web-based tool in Oracle Financial Crime and Compliance Management (FCCM) that allows authorized users to review and manage business layer data, such as customer profiles & business policy-related data. DMI simplifies data administration, enforces access controls for compliance, supports dynamic updates without backend changes, and maintains comprehensive audit logs for regulatory and internal reviews.
This feature allows clients to seamlessly manage (edit/delete) generic master data records using the DMI tool, thereby avoiding the need for any data patches from the product and reducing TCO. In addition, the DMI tool also helps enforce proper access control and audit logs for all such user actions.
