Unified Ingestion
The feature has been introduced to help on-premise customers who currently use flat file ingestion to migrate to a more structured ETL system like CSA/DFCS (Data Foundation Cloud Service). Currently, this transition is complex and requires effort to map multiple product Processor tables.
DFCS now accepts a single Account table and a single Transaction table. This makes it easier for customers to transition to DFCS, while minimizing the impact on their existing ETL processes. The customer must choose to proceed with one of these approaches.
Steps to enable and configure
- Copy the new version of the respective Ingestion batches and configure to meet your specific business requirements.
Tips and considerations
On-premise customers using the Unified Ingestion option, should set STG_TXNS.F_UNRELATED_PARTY_FLAG to "Y" for all BackOffice transaction DIS records where V_UNRELATED_PARTY_CD is not null.
