Avoid Invalid Parameter Values When Scheduling User and Role Provisioning ESS Processes

You can now experience different scheduling behaviors with the Send Personal Data for Multiple Users to LDAP and Send Pending LDAP Requests ESS processes.

The following table summarizes the changes:

This table summarizes the changes to the Send Personal Data for Multiple Users to LDAP and Send Pending LDAP Requests ESS jobs.

ESS Job Update

Send Personal Data for Multiple Users to LDAP

This job is used to update First Name, Last Name, Email, and Manager attributes. If this ESS job is scheduled with the User Population parameter set to "All Users", the following error will occur:

This process has not been executed because it has been scheduled with forbidden parameters: User Population = All Users. This parameter is allowed only with single job executions.

Send Pending LDAP Requests

This job sends bulk requests and future-dated requests that are now active to your LDAP directory. If this ESS job is scheduled with the Batch Size set to "AF", the following error will occur:

This process has not been executed because it has been scheduled with forbidden parameters: Batch Size = AF. This parameter is allowed only with single job executions.

Note: On-demand, non-scheduled executions of this ESS job are NOT affected by this issue.

This update improves the stability and data integrity in the user and roles provisioning area.
