Redwood Experience for Additional Assignment Info Page
You can now manage and view additional assignment information (assignment extensible flexfield) for a worker.

HR specialists can manage the additional assignment information of people in their person security profile.

HR analysts can only view the additional assignment information of people in their person security profile.

Line managers can only view the additional assignment information of their direct reports.
Assignment extensible flexfields
The new page offers a fewer number of clicks and better performance. You can take advantage of the cohesiveness through the application with the new page.
Steps to Enable
To use the Redwood Additional Assignment Info page, you need to enable the following profile options at the site level.

To enable the profile options, navigate to the Setup and Maintenance work area:
- Search for and click the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
- Search for and select each of the profile options listed in the table.
- Select the Level as Site.
- In the Profile Value field, enter the applicable value.
- Click Save and Close.

Tips And Considerations

When you manage assignment extensible flexfields using the Additional Assignment Info page, the effective start date of the record is defaulted.

You can see only those records that are effective as of the search date.

Approvals aren't supported yet.

Extensible flexfields (EFF) parameters aren't supported yet.

Historical records aren't displayed. Currently, it only displays records as of the search date.

Additional assignment info isn't supported as yet for employee and custom roles.
