Redwood Experience for Performance Document Participant Feedback

Employees, managers, and HR can leverage the new Participant Feedback page to send requests and view participant feedback for performance documents. This page has been recreated in the Redwood toolset Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio) to improve the user experience.

An employee, manager, or HR can add participants and request them to provide feedback if they have access to Participant Feedback for an employee’s performance document.

Add and View Participant Summary

Use the following options to select participants and then specify the role:

  • Suggestions - persons suggested based on previous participants the user has selected for the employee.
  • Peers - peers of the employee who is being evaluated.
  • Team - direct and dotted line reports of the employee who is being evaluated.
  •  All internal - persons across the organization.

Select Participants

Users can see a summary of the number of participants required to provide feedback and how many have been selected and responded. If the request for the feedback is sent immediately, the Awaiting reply status displays. Users can also save the selected participants to send requests later, the Request not sent status displays.

Access to the following actions is based on the user and configuration:

  • Add a question. If the selected participants are all assigned the same participant role, they'll see the same questionnaire. If that supports additional questions, then users can write a freeform question to add to the questionnaires.
  • Change the role of a participant if they haven't provided feedback yet, so that don't have to delete the request and resend if the wrong role has been selected.
  • Delete a participant.
  • Lock the request if feedback is no longer required.
  • Resend the request.
  • Select a new due date for the feedback.
  • Change the role of a participant.
  • Notify managers that participants have been selected.

Employee Actions

Participants requested to provide feedback on other employee's performance documents can access the requests from notifications or from the Feedback requests about others region on their own Redwood Feedback pages. Participants can provide ratings, comments, or complete questionnaires.

Tips And Considerations

  • As Performance Document and Participant Feedback, Check-in, and Goals Center are closely connected, in Redwood you can enable or disable these pages using the common ORA_HRA_PERFORMANCE_DOCUMENTS_AND_GOALS_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option. These features can't be enabled individually.
  • Additional questions can’t be added to a request once it’s sent.
