Prepare Review Content
Use the Redwood redesigned Prepare Review Content page to efficiently rate your team members. To view this page, go to My Team > Talent Review and then select the Prepare Review Content action for a meeting.
You can see these details about the meeting:
- Name
- Meeting date
- Ratings submission deadline
- Data validity guideline
- Meeting instructions
- Delivered ratings and the user-defined ratings that are configured for the meeting
The ratings that haven’t been updated within the data validity guideline are highlighted.
Prepare Review Content Page
Note: You need to close the banner messages that are displayed on the Prepare Review Content page to view the scroll bar in the grid listing the reviewees who you need to rate for the meeting.
From this release you can also view these details on the Prepare Review Content page:
- Descriptions for the ratings and the rating levels. Click the rating name in the grid to view its description and the descriptions for the rating levels. This will help you to decide the rating that you can assign to your team member.

Count of accessible active succession plans associated with the meeting in which the reviewee is an active candidate. Click the count to see the succession plan details. You can see only the succession plans in which you’re a named owner or those that the configured plan security allows you to view.

Count of accessible active talent pools associated with the meeting in which the reviewee is an active member. Click the count to see the talent pool details. You can see only the talent pools in which you’re a named owner or those that the configured talent pools security allows you to view.

On the redesigned Prepare Review Content page, you can do these actions:
- View the meeting dashboard to see how your reviewees are positioned on the dashboard.
- Filter the reviewees shown by their reporting relationship with you. If matrix management is enabled for the meeting, you can also see your dotted line reports. If you’re the matrix manager for a reviewee, then you can see the Dotted line label for the manager name.
- Search for a specific reviewee either by their name or their manager’s name.
- Sort the reviewees listed by these attributes:
- Last name
- Business title
- Grade
- Assign or edit ratings for your reviewees if you have profiles security to edit the rating. If you don’t have profiles security to edit a rating, then the rating is read-only. If you don’t have profiles security to view a rating, then the rating isn’t displayed.
- If you have profiles security to edit the rating, add a comment for each rating or view the entered comment. Click the comment icon to do this.
Rating Comment
- If you have profiles security to edit the Potential rating, you can add or edit the rating. You can also complete the potential assessment for the reviewee to populate the Potential rating.
- View and add notes for a reviewee if notes are enabled for the meeting. Click the icon in the Notes column to add a note for the reviewee.

- View and add tasks for a reviewee if tasks are enabled for the meeting. Click the icon in the Tasks column to do this.
Tasks About Reviewee
Note that all rating changes are automatically saved. However, the tasks, notes and rating comments are not automatically saved.
Potential Assessment (Manager View)
On the Redwood Prepare Review Content page, click the Potential Assessment icon to view the Potential assessment panel. Answer the questions and calculate the potential rating of the reviewee.

Talent Review Template Overview
Use the Redwood redesigned manager’s Talent Review Templates overview page to manage templates that facilitators can use to create talent review meetings. To view this page, go to My Client Groups and then use the Search Talent Review Template quick action.
You can see these details for the templates listed:
- Name
- Owner
- Whether it’s in use
- Status
You can perform these actions on the overview page:
- Search for a specific template.
- Filter the templates by their status or owner.
- Create a template.
- View these details of a template:
- User who created the template
- Date the template was created
- User who last updated the template
- Date the template was last updated
- Click the template name and edit it.
- Delete a template that’s not in use.
- Sort the templates listed by their name, owner name, or status.

Steps to Enable
To view these Redwood redesigned Talent Review pages, you need to enable the profile options indicated in the table.

Tips And Considerations

You shouldn’t setup the mandatory descriptive flexfield segments for a talent rating section in Talent Profiles for talent ratings that are used in Talent Review and Succession Management offerings.
- The current state of the talent review meeting dashboard or table view isn't retained when you navigate away to a Redwood page and return to the dashboard or table view.
