Support Validation Messages in Time and Labor Subject Areas

You can create Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) reports containing validation messages from time entry rules for the three possible message levels; Detail (entry), Day, and Time Card. These existing Workforce Management subjects areas were updated to include two new folders, Day Message and Time Card Message:

These new folders join the previously delivered Time Entry messages folder, as shown in this image for the Workforce Management - Reported Time Cards Real Time subject area. The navigation is similar in the Workforce Management – Historical Reported Time Cards Real Time subject area.

This enhancement lets you match the display of entry validation messages on time cards with reports.

Steps to Enable

Leverage new subject area(s) by adding to existing reports or using in new reports. For details about creating and editing reports, see the Creating and Administering Analytics and Reports book (available from the Oracle Help Center > your apps service area of interest > Books > Administration).

Tips And Considerations

Make sure that time entry rules are configured properly so that the summation and reporting levels matching the reporting levels.
