Display Warning Messages for Duplicate National Identifier and Date of Birth Outside Range in Redwood

The Redwood pages now support the display of warning messages for duplicate national identifiers and dates of birth that lie outside the range specified by the legal employer.

Validation for Duplicate National Identifier

When the profile option ORA_PER_NID_UNIQUENESS is set to Warning, a warning message will be displayed if a duplicate national identifier is entered on a Redwood page such as Personal Details or Hire an Employee. Even if a warning message is displayed, you can save the duplicate national identifier. You can also edit the value after the warning message is displayed.

Validation for Date of Birth Outside Specified Range

Additionally, let’s say you have set a minimum working age at the legal employer. During the hire process, if the age of person being hired lies outside the specified range based on their date of birth, then a warning message will be displayed.

With this enhancement, warning messages are displayed when specific criteria aren’t met while entering the national identifier or date of birth on Redwood pages. This helps to maintain data quality.
