Redwood Experience for Previous Employment Information for Self-Service Users

You can enable the redesigned Redwood VB Studio Previous Employment page for your employees through the employee self service. With this new page your employees can quickly view and add their previous employment information.

To enable any of the Redwood pages, the central profile option ORA_HCM_VBCS_PWA_ENABLED  needs to be set to Yes. For more information, see HCM Redwood Pages with Profile Options (Doc ID 2922407.1)

The new page offers a rich Redwood user experience, fewer clicks, and better performance.

Steps to Enable

Leverage the Visual Builder Studio to expose your applications. To learn more about extending your application using Visual Builder, visit Oracle Help Center > your apps service area of interest > Books > Configuration and Extension.

Here are the steps to enable the redesigned Redwood VB Studio Previous Employment self-service page:

  1. Navigate to the Setup and Maintenance area and search for the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
  2. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for  ORA_PAY_MY_IN_CALCARD_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option.
  3. Enter Yes in the Profile Value field.
  4. Click Save and Close.
