Changed Payroll Relationship Rule Mode

The payroll relationship rule mode is changed to C: Use Last Record.

The change will differentiate the aggregated balance value for the rehired employee.  Previously under payroll relationship rule mode = 'L', an existing payroll relationship record for the past employment was reused, so balances were aggregated including the ones in the past employment.  With this change, under payroll relationship rule mode = 'C', if a rehire date does not have the continuity from the previous employment, for example they were terminated on Apr 29 and rehired on May 1, the YTD balance will not include the one up to Apr 29.

Tips And Considerations

The new rule is effective to newly created payroll relationships only after the upgrade. The existing payroll relationships will not be maintained retrospectively.
