Pay Rate Date Configuration Options for Accrual Plans
There is a new option in the Rates section, under the Entries and Balances tab of the accrual plan setup page called Rate Date Rule. You can use it to specify whether the absences consuming carryover amounts should be paid using the worker's current rate, or their rate as of the carryover date.

These are the two options:
Option | What it does |
---|---|
Absence Date | Absence is paid using the worker's pay rate as of the absence date. |
Absence or Carryover Date | Absence is paid using the worker's pay rate when the carryover was generated, and if the carryover is exhausted, then using the pay rate as of the absence date. |
Use the new Rate Date Rule option to specify whether absences consuming carryover amounts should be paid using the worker's current rate or their rate as of the carryover date.
