New Subject Area - Absence Shift Details Real Time
The new subject area Workforce Management - Absence Shift Details Real Time helps you report on the breakdown of work shifts impacted by worker absences. For example, if a worker is absent from specific shifts, you can report on which shifts are affected and the duration of the absence.
This subject area provides key details such as the worker’s name, assignment, absence type, unit of measure, absence start and end date time, and shift durations.
The Time dimension is anchored on Absence Shift Start Date.
Note: Only valid and submitted absences are included. Withdrawn, denied or rejected absences are excluded from reporting in this subject area.
You can report on the detailed shift breakdown of worker absences.
Steps to Enable
Leverage new subject area(s) by adding to existing reports or using in new reports. For details about creating and editing reports, see the Creating and Administering Analytics and Reports book (available from the Oracle Help Center > your apps service area of interest > Books > Administration).
Tips And Considerations
- This subject area holds data only when Absence - OTL Integration is enabled in the Fusion system.
- For Unit of Measure (UOM) of Hours and Days, the Shift Absence Duration metric shows accurate durations, while for other Unit of Measures (UOM), it always displays as 1. Report this metric alongside the Unit of Measure (UOM) for clarity.
- The Shift Absence Duration (Hours) metric displays the shift duration in hours, regardless of the selected Unit of Measure (UOM).
