Gap Recommenders Skills Matching Enhancements
You can now affect the number of recommendations made by a recommendation profile. By selecting the first, second, and fifth options in the new Suggested skills to consider for gap recommendations section, you increase the number of recommendations. By selecting options 3 and 4, you decrease the number of recommendations. Here's how each option affects processing of the recommendation profile:
- Include uncurated skills suggested on roles: Identifies the AI-suggested skills not approved or curated by a person, on job profiles or position profiles per the categories selected in the recommendation profile.
- Include uncurated skills suggested for resources: Identifies the AI-suggested skills not approved or curated by a person, on learning items, learning topics, or HCM Journeys, per the resources selected in the recommendation profile.
- Include only resources with outcomes: Matches selected resource types only if they were curated and profiled as a skill that updates the worker's talent profile on completion. This option applies to learning items and HCM Journeys, but not learning topics.
- Include only required role skills: Identifies a skill as a role gap only if it was curated and profiled on the role as a required skill.
- Search the learning catalog for resources: Searches the learning catalog and finds learning resources by title or description that match the skill, as well as items profiled with skill that were identified as a gap.

Tips And Considerations
The two options identifying skill gaps and matching resources using uncurated skills apply only when either or both of the Current role gaps and Careers of interest gaps recommendation categories are selected. The other new options apply only when one or more of the Current role gaps, Careers of interest gaps, Manager-assigned skills, and Skills being developed categories are selected.
