UK MyCSP Service History Support for Consecutive Reportable Absences
Where two or more reportable consecutive absences exist (that is, the later absence starts the day after the previous absence ends), the Service History, Salary History, and Allowance History records are generated as follows:
If the consecutive absences are associated with different Service History start codes, for example, a maternity leave absence immediately follows an unpaid absence, one Service History record is generated for each absence record showing the appropriate absence-related start code.
For consecutive absences associated with the same Service History start code, for example, shared parental leave immediately follows a maternity absence, one Service History record is generated for the entire period that is covered by the same MS start code.
Salary History and Allowance History (for active allowances) are generated for each Level 1 assumed pay absence with start dates to match each Service History record start date, reporting Reduced Pay (RACTPAY) and Actual Reduced Rate of Allowance (RACTRATE) values respectively.
Return to work Service History records are generated only when there is more than one day between the end of one reportable absence and the start date of the next. (The corresponding Salary History and Allowance History files are generated to cancel out the Reduced Pay and Actual Reduced Rate of Allowance values.)
Service History records are generated to reflect two or more consecutive absences, with either one Service History record for each absence where their start codes differ, or one Service History record for multiple consecutive absences that are associated with the same start code. The corresponding Salary History and Allowance History files for Level 1 assumed pay absences are generated for each Service History record.
