Redwood: Create Calendar Meeting Invites For Performance Check-ins
You can now configure a Redwood Performance check-in template to create calendar invites from the check-in documents.
As an HR, you can enable Create meeting invite in a check-in template.
Enable the Create Meeting Invite Option
Check-ins created from the template will enable managers and employees to create a calendar invite as part of scheduling the meeting. The calendar file is generated as an ics file and can be added to calendar clients that support this format.
Managers and employees can use the generated calendar file to add the check-in to their own calendar to track the meeting. The date of the meeting defaults to the check-in date and can’t be modified. When the meeting is scheduled, the .ics file is automatically downloaded.
Scheduler Adds Meeting Location and Additional Details
If the meeting scheduler changes the meeting details, a new file will be created and can be downloaded. When added to the attendees' calendar, it will update the previous calendar entry.
This feature allows tracking of the check-in date when users aren’t in the application but it’s available in their calendar.

Tips And Considerations
- As the Performance Document, Check-in, and Goals Center are closely connected the Redwood version of these pages you can enable or disable all using the common ORA_HRA_PERFORMANCE_DOCUMENTS_AND_GOALS_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option. These features can't be enabled individually.
- This feature isn’t applicable to Touchpoints as yet.
